Food: BBQ Chicken Pizza on Naan Bread

If you are like me, you probably have leftover chicken with nothing to do with it. Instead of just adding a veggie and having seasoned chicken for dinner (which is definitely an easy dinner to whip up, as well), I like to try to get creative sometimes. That is how I thought of using leftover chicken to make a BBQ Chicken Pizza on Naan Bread. Another bonus: this recipe is so versatile, you can make buffalo chicken or even pesto as your base. I'll add a couple of variations here for you.

BBQ CHICKEN ON NAAN BREAD (with a couple variations for your taste buds)

Ingredients:
  • Cooked Chicken
  • BBQ sauce (of your choice), Buffalo Sauce (I like Franks Red Hot), or Pesto
  • Veggies (I like to use yellow pepper, spinach, red onion, and sometimes jalapeƱo)
  • Shredded Cheese (my favorite is pepper jack)
  • Naan Bread (I prefer the Garlic naan bread)
How To Make It:
  • Set oven at 350 Degrees
  • Lightly spread sauce on Naan Bread (I do not go overboard on this because you will be tossing the chicken in the sauce (except if you use pesto))
  • Chop veggies and add desired amount on Naan bread
  • Toss your chicken in the sauce
  • Spread Chicken evenly on sauced Naan bread
  • Put desired amount of Cheese on Naan Bread (I usually go light on the cheese, you do not need a lot. But some people like cheese better than I do so keep that in mind).
  • Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes
  • Enjoy! Be Careful, it will be hot when you take it out of the oven!
